How EuroMetrics compares
Each comparison uses the vendor's own public pages, checked on 27 September 2026, and says where the other tool is the better choice.
EuroMetrics vs Plausible
Both are cookieless, EU-based alternatives to Google Analytics. Plausible is fully open source and has a very polished, minimal dashboard; EuroMetrics has a free plan, is cheaper at higher traffic and adds uptime, SEO and speed tools in the same account.
EuroMetrics vs Matomo
Matomo is the most complete Google Analytics replacement, with heatmaps, session recordings and A/B tests, and it can be self-hosted for free. EuroMetrics is simpler, sets no cookies by default and costs less in the cloud at the same traffic.
EuroMetrics vs Fathom
Fathom is a cookieless analytics tool from Canada with unlimited retention and 50+ sites on every plan. The main difference is location: Fathom anonymises EU visits in Europe and then stores the data on its US servers, while EuroMetrics stores everything in Paris.
EuroMetrics vs Umami Cloud
EuroMetrics is built on the open-source Umami engine, so the tracking works the same way. Umami Cloud has a bigger free plan and is cheaper at 1 million events; EuroMetrics is an EU company that stores data only in the EU and adds GA4 import and site monitoring tools.
EuroMetrics vs UptimeRobot
UptimeRobot is the most popular uptime service, with 50 free monitors. EuroMetrics checks every site from Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, only alerts when two of three locations agree, stores results in the EU and comes with web analytics in the same account.
A Google Analytics alternative built in the EU
EuroMetrics replaces Google Analytics 4 for websites that want complete numbers without cookies or a consent banner. Your analytics data is stored in Paris, the tracking script is about 5 KB, you can import your GA4 history, and one website is free.
