Brand visibility in AI answers

A buyer asks ChatGPT and gets three names. If yours is not among them, you did not lose a ranking — you were never in the room. AI Visibility measures that room.

Key capabilities

Six metrics per model

Mention rate, position, link rate, recommendation rate, correctness against your fact sheet, and a dominance index that reads like market share.

Every answer stored in full

Each question is asked several times under neutral conditions. Answers and links are kept, so any number opens to the exact text behind it.

Sources: who took your place

The sites the models cite next to competitors and never next to you, sorted by scenario and site kind. A ready outreach list, exportable to CSV.

Competitors you did not know about

The module re-reads the answers and lists the brands named in the same breath as yours. One click adds a competitor and re-scores past runs at no extra cost.

Site readiness for AI crawlers

Seven checks the way GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot see your site: robots.txt, bot protection, readable text without JavaScript, Organization markup, llms.txt.

Visits from AI assistants

Traffic from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and others gets its own channel in your analytics, with landing pages and conversions.

How it works

1

Describe your buyers' questions

Scenarios, not keywords: "What is the best privacy-first analytics tool for a Shopify store in Germany?" Grouped by segment and intent, branded or blind.

2

Runs on a schedule

Every scenario goes to every selected model several times, weekly or every two weeks, under the same conditions from run to run.

3

Read the gap and act on it

See where you are missing, who is named instead and which sites the models trust, then work the list and watch the next run.

Where the data lives

Questions go to the AI providers being measured — that is the measurement. Every answer, metric and source list is stored on our servers in the EU, and no visitor data from your site is ever sent to a model.

What we learned by measuring ourselves

We ran AI Visibility on eurometrics.eu: seven scenarios, four models, three repeats, 84 answers. EuroMetrics was named in 21 % of the answers, with a dominance index of 7 against Plausible's 32 and Matomo's 20. Now we know exactly who the models reach for first in our niche.

The Sources tab was the most useful part. Of 184 sites the models cited next to any tracked brand, 140 cited only competitors. For one question about GDPR-compliant analytics under 30 euro a month, the models cited 24 pages next to our competitors and none next to us — one question, one ready outreach list.

Low visibility often has a technical cause you never see in a browser. In one of our measurements a retail site served an AI crawler 22 % of the text a human sees, and no markup saying whose site it was. The Readiness check finds that kind of problem in one click.

A single measurement is a snapshot. A stable monthly picture of one brand needs 20–30 scenarios asked three times, so start with the questions that decide purchases and grow from there.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as AEO or GEO?▼
No. AEO and GEO are the work of making pages more likely to be cited. AI Visibility is the scoreboard that shows whether that work had any effect. The scoreboard comes first.
Why not just ask ChatGPT myself?▼
For a first look, fine. For a trend, no: the app adds personalisation and memory, so two people get different answers to the same question. Measurement needs the same neutral conditions every time.
Which AI assistants are measured?▼
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, plus Google's AI Overview block whenever it appears. Google AI Mode and some regional assistants are not served by any data provider yet, so they stay outside the numbers.
Why do the models disagree so much?▼
Different search indexes, retrieval rules and linking habits. Perplexity cites sources on almost every answer, Claude links far less. That is why every metric is tracked per model.
Can the numbers move without anything changing?▼
Yes. Models answer the same question differently each time, so the spread between repeats sits next to every percentage, and growth inside the spread does not count. A provider or model-version change also moves the numbers, so only runs with the same set of models compare.
How do I get access?▼
